GIF CratePrivacy
GIF Crate is a GIF toolbox that resizes files on your device. This page says what that means for a GIF you open here.
GIFs you open
Choosing a GIF opens it on your device. The window you set is applied here. The file is not sent to GIF Crate. When you leave or refresh the page, the preview is cleared unless you already saved a download.
How resize runs
The window uses Gifsicle compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser. The same crop or pad applies to every frame. We do not keep a copy of the GIF, the window you set, or the result.
What stays on this device
A theme choice (light, dark, or system) is stored in this browser under the key gifcrate-theme. That is the only preference this site writes. There is no account and no payment data.
